Hi Julian! I finally got some updated pic's of my husbands 72 day natural neglect/TnR mix dreads. I figured since your dreads inspired him to dread his hair I wanted to share his pic's with you. I hope things are going well in your world! : )
My girlfriend did some backcombing on my hair and I did a little TnR as well andafter that I just let it go,haha. That makes me feel good that I may have inspiration onsomeone cause I use to look at peoples dreadlocks all the time for inspiration
Wow! I just saw your before pic. You really did lose a bunch of length. I am definitely heading that way ; ) Your dreads look great though. I love how straight hair dreads. My husband is dreading his hair with a combination of natural/neglect and a few TnR thrown in too. It looks like you have similar hair to him. He liked your pics and it gave him some inspiration of what's to come. I will be posting his updated pics this weekend. I have his 2nd day pic up now, but he is well into his 2nd month now. : )

That is so cool! Thank you for sharing the before and after of the loops. I am 3 months in and more than half of mine are looping like crazy. I am also losing over half my length on the ones that are looping too. Did you lose length-if so how much? Even though I like the uniqueness of the loops, I like to see that they eventually do smooth out somewhat.
