Welcome to the community. Yes, wax is notoriously difficult to get out. Even if you think all the wax is gone, keep washing with the wax b gone. It is far better to be safe than sorry.

Welcome. It's great that you're trying to get the wax out. Wax is a VERY difficult to wash out. The wax be gone should work great, but will take multiple uses to clean it out fully.

Good luck.

Have you posted in the recovery forums yet? If not, go for it. It's always helpful to have new members tell their tales

welcome to the community. I can see from your pictures that your scalp has been damaged. You have something called traction alopecia. That is why there is so much scalp showing. Getting your hair twisted and braided is what has caused this. It's very unfortunate and I advise that you don't go and get your hair "done" any more.
