Welcome. It's goo you learned about DHHQ. Did you use wax? Have you done any wax removal sessions yet? wax will NEVER wash out in your normal washing routine. It needs a detergent and to be aggressively removed.

It puts a lot of torque on your locks and roots. This pulls hairs out all over the place. Once those hairs are pulled out, a weak spot is created that can almost never be fixed. New growth doesn't grow in fast enough to tangle and lock into the weak spot. Doing it aggressively also rips hairs into smaller and smaller pieces. I have a video on my page showing what only 2 weeks of daily palm rolling can do, and did do to my locks. 6 years later, I'm still trying to fix the damage
