its hard to start dreads in just 2 inches u really need at least 4 to 6 in most hair some will dread shorter but as a general rule 4-6 inches to start is bestwhat u got now is mangled burnt wax caked hair that will not dread because of all the waxhow much did u pay for that? get your money back! now if u remove all the wax it will dread but with weakness dammage and they will feel scratchy from the crochet broken hairs.. u can save em i hope but youir better off starting over after letting em grow 2 more inches or more

dreads get lobg with time and trusting a "dread artist" is a huge mistakeanyoner who makes a living doing dreads is guaranteed to not know how to do dreads righttheres not 1 in the world id trustwhen i began my dreads i wanted them long enough to drag on the groundthey started at 2 inchesbut now are a foot past the groundif you want dreads to be long the best thing to do is choose a healthy way to dread that makes sure they survive long enough to grow longextentions are often crocheted crochet is terible for dreads
