Getting back into it

Hey dready Christians, I was wondering if you guys could recommend a book for me to get back into reading the bible. Throughout high school i did some awesome progress and read about 3/4 of the NT and well now I'm going into my second year of college and going to be working part time as well. It's gonna be rough but I've always been big on prayer and I know that through it and faith I'll make it through strong. By the end of high school I started to read the OT. I thought reading in Chronological order would help me understand more and grow on my faith, but it truly has been a struggle since. I read though Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and recently started Numbers, got to numbers 6, where the Nazarite vow is mentioned and haven't read since. That was a couple weeks ago and it took me about a year to read them. I do not really attend any church, the Catholic Church scared me away haha, but my point is that I do not really have a community and I'm going to try to get involved in a church this year. But the main reason I'm writing this is to ask for you guys to recommend me a book in the Bible to get back into it, I thought maybe Psalms or Proverbs but don't really know. What would you guys recommend? Also I use the Apologetic bible and its a HCSB translation which I love. I just want a recommendation. I'm gonna start today but want to make it a daily habits. Thank you
