well this wrap was around my oldest "experimental" dread. it had been interlocked and was super weak and screwed up. i thought if i wrapped it, it would save it, but i ended up taking out the whole dread and making it into three!i just tied some hemp around the top and wrapped it around and around and around to the bottom, and then around back up a little bit, and then tied it again. i'm thinking about doing another wrap! and i don't suppose you have to use hemp, but i heard it "helps dreading" haha. if you do it, just make sure it gets dry, or blow dry it because that thing took FOREVER to dry.
