well i just went back to baking soda but for a special conditioning treat i soaked them for a long time in a bath with a cupcake bath bomb! which is baking soda, citric acid, sea salt, corn starch, a bunch of different essential oils, and some cocoa and shea butter! it was the best!
thanks everybody!!! i think they look a little bit sad here... i had been using regular shampoo... went back to normal and i think they're looking much better!!
