i started with the back comb method with no wax cause i didnt know of this site. but i have a couple of dreads were alot of lose hair is supposed to be in the dread right above it. how do i get the hair in to the dread it belongs. its to much to dreadball i believe. any suggestions?
have a look at a few timelines and here is few things that may set you back so dont do them:
1: dont use wax
2: dont crochet
3: dont do any maintanance techniques except seperating dreads that try to congo
4: dont use a shampoo and conditioner (use residue free shampoo or look up baking soda and apple cider vinegar rinse on forum)
5: dont towl dry your hair
6: dont finger comb (happens without thinking your doin it trust me im bad for it :P )
7: dont re-backcomb or tnr throw a bead in if anything.
8: live long and prosper on your dreadlock journey lol.
And best of all search the forum and ask questions before trying anything a friend suggests or some salon loctician suggests.
Lots of donts I know but its really easier to think of it as you don't have to do anything......
love

how old were you when you got them and how old are you now?
dont have any haha
thanks you always bring that nervous pit in my stomach to go away. and you should put up a picture of you in your youth full days maybe before dreads?
backcomb loosens more then tightens 1st 4 months if u have 1/2 hold together yoir doing fine
its been 3 month
how longs it been u gotta get over that u will always have lose hairs trying to figuee out where they want to go do u want to be forcing them forever?
