yea thats a shame they do that i bet they convince you your hair wont dread naturally too huhi would try using a soft bristled brush with lots of conditioner it maybe slower that waty but less chance of further harmit might not work tho but worth a shot if it works at all even slowly it will be the best way to go
thje roots dont need to be round they wont be but the roots dont need anything done to them ever except seperation to prevent congods u can start over without cutting if u decide to just soak in conditioner and slowly carefully comb out when u reach as spot too tight soak it in conditioner or olive oil over night and work on another dread it takes a good li=ong time but u can salvage much of the hair but it isnt nesacary to start over unless u choose to ..freom here on jyst neglect it let it do what it wants and naturalize
awesome keep us posted then
sometimes roots split that way but often its from forced sectioning the 2 sections wanted to be 2 dreads but were forced to be 1
looks like u saved alot of hair thats still good and thick and long so will be omk in the end
cool keep us posted
i mean after 6 years of dreading they were avble to comb them out but it took several days to do it maybe even moire tgen a week
tho if u crochetted alot that can make it alot harder
u can let them naturalize from here on if they are really too tight and the contditioning will help thast along
