the roots will get looser and looser for many months and wont start to tighten till nearly mature its normal to have up to 3 inches undresaded till 8 pr so months in then tighten to 1/2 inch and stay there
they will shrink also as they dread till mature then grow
as u seperate to prevent congoes u create loose hairs between dreads they will either join a dread..or become a new dread when long enougj
washing and seperatings all u need to dio

ok thanks heaps ... so i will just leave them alone and let them do there own thing . im getting ny beads this week but i will make sure i move them around all the time and ok i will buy different shampoo next timealso does the hair grow in the dreads or come out ??
yes they find thier own way but u sorta screwed yourself with the crochet trying to rush the "looking nice" going natural they look nice every step of the way the mess is a beautiful thing but by crocheting u caused severe damage so will get 10 times more fuzz then any other method and u will see no dreading at all for 6 months thats when they recover and start6 to loop and dread.. that looping is how they dread its nesacary
typicaly dreads look mature in a year you will be luckiy if u lose the crochetted looik in a year
as they recover from the crichet they will fatten up alot (3 or more times fatter) so the beads w8i=ill be stuck permenantly if u dont mocvve em around and replace em often
Will someone help me starting my dreadlock
yup or post in the forums
thanks heaps.. learnt a few things i never knew thanks man ... will ask you any questions if needes
nope dont matter in fact a rough wool pilloe case will pull some out sure but will speed up dreading
but really it doesnt matter just leave em be
ok cool .. also should i be sleeping on a silk pillow case to stop hair being pulled out ir diesnt it matter ?
