Tara and Leah, thank you lovely ladies!
Peace & blessings to all<3
Elise,
My hair is fine too.I quit using regular shampoo and started washing with only Dr.Bronner's.I stopped using conditioner as well. After about a month of that my hair was pretty frazzled and seemed more coarse. Then I sectioned them about an inch or so and proceded to backcomb. That took me 11 days bymyself, with lots of breaks and 3 young girls running around the house.
That's it : ) All I do is wash, seperate and do a little palm rolling here and there.I personally didn't want the "high maintenance" dreads that you have to work on all the time...as for the new growth,I do nothing. They kinda take care of themselves.Just keep em clean, thats key.Wash them every 3 to 4 days and let them completely dry before you tie or cover them with anything.
Stay away from "regular" shampoo as they cause build up.Residue free or baking soda.I don't use the baking soda, tried it once and it was complicated...I don't care for complicated.
The journey is amazing and I never want to be without them!
stunning.
: ) Sculpey clay..gotta love it! Your dreads are beautiful as well~
