jenna, these are beautiful! don't get rid of them, please. if you look at my dreads, they are the same age as yours, and i did exactly what you did, in the beginning (except i wash mine once a week, always have). What you need to do is this:Wash them twice a week for a whole month, using as hot of water as you can stand. in your final rinse, pour a really salty water over your hair, and leave it in. This will help to lock up your hair. Big time.Once i stopped crocheting, my hair was uber frizzy for about two weeks or so. You have got to be forgiving. So did I. stop palm rolling too, that will weaken your roots. To tighten your roots, gently clockwise rub them the day after you wash. They will stick up. I recommend from now on, for a ffew months, that you sleep with a scarf on your head, doe3snt matter what kind. I still do, and mine are 7 months old now.they will fix themselves, mine are proof
