Hi and thanks for the recommendations. I just did it to get the hair separated and segmented. After about two days of not brushng I had one huge knot of hair and it was the only way from keeping my hair turning into one big dread. Once they were segmented once with a bit of palm rolling though it seems it's no longer necessary to do it. I'm gonna try to leave them as they are for now.

Welcome. I have a video on my page that shows the damage that only 2 weeks of palm rolling does. It's not worth doing it for only temporary neatness

but wouldnt hother palm rolling its pointless it does nothing helpfull (if it did its very temporary) but do it alot and its pretty harmfull
palm rollings used by wax users to compress hair into wax it simulated the movement that wax prevents
