well thats why you see so few dreads 20+ years old and 1/2 the african dreads u see look like they are going bald or were involved in some srt of bizzarre experiment to re-animate a doll (u know how dolls heads have tuffs of hair poking through holes in the head and alotta scalp (rubber) all around)
gels aeent the best uption since they can build up (1 guy had grey dreads ..that turned back to black after doing a residue removal)
ethnic hair well if its more african in naturwe doesnt alow the oils to transfer well so it is too dry and needs more moisturizing thats the only real product needed aloe vera ..pure aloe straight from the plant is a gel like substance that shrinks as it dries Conditioning too) and pulls fuzz in to smooth them
this is healthy and rinses right out
jojoba oils another great option since its chemicaly asclose to yoiur natural oils as it gets
