Welcome. Eagle's right. If you can ever see your scalp in between your sections, that's a sure fire sign that you are slowly making yourself go bald. Never retwist to "tighten" your roots. Roots will tighten on their own over time. Anything you do to force it along only causes huge problems down the line.

And the thing about lemon juice is right too. Lemon and lime juice is citric acid. In the scale of acids it's not thatstrong. But it's more than strong enough to seep into your hair shaft and break it down from the inside out. People use lemon juice to lighten their hair. That lightening is how the damage shows up. It's not something that can be healed once it happens.

welcome but u never want to twist at all and never uswe lemon juice its a strong acid that penetrated into the inner layer of the hair shaft and breaks down the protein bonds..slowly dissolving the hair gfrom the inside

twisting weakens the roots and causes rraction alopecia

u should be washing more twice a week

and then do nothing only seperate as neede4d

looking to so called pros for help is the worse thing u can do havent u seen how mamy of their victims are going bald?
