haha! thanks, renee people are always telling me i look young but its usually while i'm standing next to my 22 yr old daughter. she looks older than her age.
thanks, alisa i'm actually fine with my hair now for some reason. i think that it finally clicked that its all a part of the journey and its just going to take longer than most for me to achieve dreadlocks and i'm okay with that.
as far as my low self image, it's all due to getting older. i don't like pictures of myself and as i age i'm not liking the changes i see. this site has me taking more pictures of myself than i have in decades. some people age gracefully and i don't think i'm one of them. my kids are always getting on me for putting myself down. i think i do it so that people will know that i know what they're thinking. messed up, i know. it's another thing i need to work on:)

Heather...why do you have such a low image about yourself :\ ? You're such a beautiful woman. So what that your dread journey is so different from others? So what that it's so slow and loopy, it doesn't make it any less beautiful! It in fact makes you more unique from other people. I bet you all these people aren't writing on your pictures how beautiful and fantastic your locks look for no reason. You should love yourself and accept yourself You are amazingly beautiful, trust me!
