Hey - I'm so sorry i missed you on the chat line, i'm only just now figuring out how it all works, Sandread a member here has shown me how it all works, while i was on Dreadlockssite i just went over to my Trade Me to see what was going on and that must of been when you came onto my page to chat, truely i'm sorry as i see you had to disconnect. I never used to use the chat line and have been used to switching from site to site, but now it looks like people r using the chatline more, i've always been a reserved type, so this will do me good, I hope i catch you next time.
welcome if u stop cricheting you wouldnt need help maintauning crochet creates tge need to crochet it does extreme damage so u have to constantly maintain u should never have to do anything but wash and seperate thats all throw the hook away
Welcome. I hate to be the one to tell you first, but crocheting is the most damaging this you can do to locks. Wax can be washed out, but crocheting your hair breaks each hair into smaller and smaller pieces. Those pieces can't magically fix themselves. What crocheting does is makes your hair weaker and weaker. Eventually it can get so weak that it snaps off at points. It also makes your locks too tight that they get hard. Even the most mature locks are not hard. They should be spongy and soft.
Welcome. Tgel is th #1 most toxic shampoo known. It contains so many toxic chemicals that should never come into contact with skin. The Dreadhead shampoo is also extremely toxic.
Crocheting is also the most damaging thing you can do to your locks. It breaks hairs with every pass of the needle. Which weakens your locks and causes them to be overly tight. This traps water and promotes a good environment for mold. If you crochet your roots, and see scalp between each lock, that is called traction alopecia, and will cause baldness too

leave em alone the roots need to be loose many months then tighten on their own but only tighyten as far as they want to tighten
they stop there for a reason any tighter and it causes traction alopecia thats why pretty much all salon dreads are goig bald
u dont have to work on dreads at all just let them happen
No worries. It's not something well advertised. You have to go out and look for it. Google search "top 5 most toxic shampoos"
