what id do is add like a droperfull to a gallon of water or sop a juice pitcher pour over head  wait 3-5 min then don't filly rinse but 1/2 rinse like spray  the scalp fairly well but a quick spray  over the dreads not to rinse it out but spread it through more and rinse out any excess  ..after washing

Awesome thank you.. Yes I've been reading the posts on your site and your recommendations about crotcheting.  I've just bought some Jojoba 100% organic carrier oil.  Do I just rub & massage it into the dreads (extensions), staying away from my scalp of course?  And leave it for 15 minutes or so?  Should I wrap in gladwrap or something to create some heat?  Then wash off with my dreadlock soapbar?  Thanks heaps for your help.

welcome crochet is very very damaging that is why they are scratchy (all the broken hairs) the best thing you can do is condition and loosen them up as crochet recovery can take years because it makes them unnaturally tight and therefore stiff

you should stop going to 'dreadlockers' and just let them dread

unfortunately you drasticly delayed progress by having them crochetted

jojoba is a great conditioner

the softer and looser you can make them the better (within reason )
