yea lemon juice is corosive it penetrates into the inner layers of the hair shaft and wreaks havok thats why it bleaches but it can weaken too its especialy bad on color trweatted hair..it can be used safely if youi use it right but not if youir using it all the time as an accelerator which it actualy softens more the sea salt alonbe works best
