commimg loose is all part of dreadiu shouldnt need to do a thing unless they fall apart completely they will need to loosen in order to dread but well wet hair knots easier but also is damaged easier the only maintenance u really should do is seperate em so they dont combine

african hair tends to get dry and brittle and craves moisture like a sponge..that is why gels are used so much not to hold but to moisturizecaucasian hair dreads best when dried out so we use sea saltshae butter is a moisturizer like cocia butterit is very often used in african dreads i think its also used for ashy skinso if u get too dry and brittle use some

yes and yes its a plant, the plants a suculant, like a cactus..inside the leaf is a gel, the gel has properties that heal burns. condition skin and hair, and as it dries it shrinks pulling in loose hairs it wwill then wash right out unlike wax and leaves the hair healthybut..u dont want to really use anything to "hold" use it as a conditioner, but holding agrnlts like wax are the oposiyte of what u want, you want the hair to move to knot the more it can move the better

srry shoulda lookeed at the pics aloe vera gel (no other ingredients) or the jamaican line twisting gel is dine to use fir african hairbut u need to get the wax out 1st and theres no point in really twisting all that much u should leave em alone to dread as much as u can

wax is evil twists dont need to be kept in cause u never needed to twist to begin with are u afrocan? if u dont have african hair twists will never work at all anywaybut even if u are african twists are not dreads they only define the sections and they will loosen b4 they tighten just get all the wax out even if u gotts start over from scratch theres a wax removal and wax truth links in the menucall her and tell her she has no business dping dreads if she doesnt know to never use wax

welcome brotherwhat did they use in the comb twists? going to a shop is usualy the worse thing u can di\o but african hair survives the screwed up crap shops do betterbut ifthey used wax u need to get it alllll out
