I see you are using Jamacian mango, if you are not African American, then that shampoo will be too conditioning for your future dreads. You are at the beginning of a wonderful journey that you will love every step of the way, so congrats. Here is a map of your area so you can see if you have hard or soft water. With soft water, most dread shampoos will work perfectly for you, but with hard water, many of them will leave behind a built up residue over time.
