Yeah, hard water sucks. If you ever find you have a build up, use Neutrogena Anti Residue Shampoo to remove it, but just use that 3-4 times a year, very drying to the scalp. When I use it, it put on on my dreads only, not the scalp and it works miracles ( I have hard well water) ...peace

If you do, many dread shampoos and bars leave a residue inside the dreads over time. If you water is not hard, you are lucky, then you have many choices to use.
