Deleted picture because I was only able to choose one file to upload. How can I post multiple pictures?

So another month, didn't think I had much more progress but I just looked at the other picture and it really took over. Here are some pics, slow progress I am almost seven months in and still only have that one. These pictures make it look more separated than it is, I was every few days and almost ready for a wash so that dryness and separation goes away when I wash. Does anyone else have that problem? my hair is pretty fine and thin. I use Vicki's lockin up and I love her sea salt, been using that daily but I don't wash hers out.

No progress

Dreading Methods

I know I am only a month in and I don't expect dreads yet or even knots but when I say no progress I mean no separation, nothing at all. When I look at most timelines after a few days you see something. Like I said I have no urge to twist n rip I will just keep going on, thanks for the responses. If you saw my hair you wouldn't know I haven't combed it.

No progress

Dreading Methods

So I haven't combed my hair for almost five weeks now and see no progress at all. I wash 3 times a week with lockin up liquid and use a salt spray also. How long before I should do twist and rip. I really don't want to because well I don't really want to be bothered and was hoping they would form naturally where they meant to be. My hair is thin and prob about 6 inches.

Baking soda wash

Dread Maintenance

Thanks. I just started. I am only two weeks in so you can't even tell yet. Yeah, I bought lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree, rosemary and clay sage today. I was using dr. Bronners but I also have a bottle of Lockin up liquid shampoo. I just did my first bs and acv the other night after spraying a sea salt spray and loved it. I did the 5 cups. Can you explain more about your spray bottle? That sounds more convenient? What do you put in and how much do you dilute it? When do you spray it in?

Baking soda wash

Dread Maintenance

Ok, so I am a little confused. Most of the measurements I see are 5 cups of water to a half cup of baking soda. But then I saw that soaring eagles recipe says about the same amount of baking soda (maybe a little more 3/4) and fills a gallon pitcher up. Aren't there 16 cups in a gallon? I am going to start adding oils so I want to make sure I have it right. I also bought clary sage and eucalyptus. How many drops should I add of them to pitcher. My hair is short so I have only been filling half the gallon container? Thanks

Dreadlocks Journey Emotional Support

I just wanted to take a quick second to thank everyone on this site. I have been growing my hair out and researching on here, asked a few questions but kept on saying I would wait to stop combing my hair. So I want to thank everyone for their quick responses to my questions. I got over what I felt was the biggest hump and that was a full week at work without combing. My supervisors and managers know what I am doing and seemed cool with it. I sprayed with salt water last night, did a bs wash with acv rinse and my hair looked and felt great. Slow progress but psyched I can actually start my journey now. Thanks again
