Help! Save My Dreads
I have had my dreads for about 3 1/2 weeks. I back combed them. I'm starting to notice lots of loose hair. Is this going to be normal? I'm washing with Buck County dreadlock bar shampoo. Is there something I need to do. I don't want to crochet it in. I'm wanting a more natural look, but I was inpatient so I back combed to jump start. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

I love the looks little kids give me. They don't know what to think. I've learned to ignore adults. I did have a hitch hiker ask me if I had any weed once. Thought that was kind of funny, he I had dreads so must know where to get weed. I have learned a lot through my first year of my journey. I'm a stronger person because of it.

My outlook on life. I use to think I had to look a certain way or dress a certain way to be accepted by society. Since I started my journey I have never been so happy with who I am. I don't care about the mold of society any more, I just care about being who I truly am. Also since I stated using more natural products on my hair it's got me to thinking about what other natural products I can start using.
