i think u worry too much i think the bang dread look like urs is cute on some people, an wen u tie them back the bangs an lil few peices un dreaded around the edges is even more natural look its pretty mess hahaa so dont worry of it if u really wanted to u could tnr those peices loose that r bothering u, an b careful to separate them with a head wrap type headband just wen brushing ur bangs, that way those peices will b back with rest of dreads first, happy dreading peace

hi hun, yea cut back on all the things ur doing all of it at once will surely dry out ur scalp lil too much. and make sure u rinse ou the sea salt spray at least in the same day. bein sure not to spray ur roots an scalp as it will dry u out too much as well. and i also use Zum bar soaps on my body an face u dont even need much to be clean so maybe not get as sudsy as u like. and yes i believe the goats milk an other softening properties of the Zum bar will leave a lil residue in dreads over time tho. they do smell good an leave skin soft, but yea was meant for natural soap for skin only pretty much. try to cut back to washing ur dreads once every 3 days only massaging fingertips on scalp and softly apply the soap on dreads no scrubing ect. rinse well. try cut back all ur cleaning methods start fresh just one time cleaning an a deep clean once a month like bs wash or acv. ull figure out how to balance them in time goodluck happy dreading an also its normal for the tnr to come out a lil before dread knots tightening up. peace

well moist anything on ur hair all time isnt good and if u ran ur fingers through ur hairs as u described it would essentially remove whatever dreading might be happening definitely wont encourage knots to form. some weird incorrect advise u got there brother.

to form natural freeform neglect wat u might call them dreadlocks method

u cant brush hair in any way not finger brush ither

to separate knots apart in sections u pull em apart from each other wen wet after knots form lol

wash with good non residue soap and or bs wash an wen dreads form can use avc soak wash

just leave em alone and they will form dont scrub hair wen washing ither goodluck

Need some advice, 3 dreads combining into 1

General Questions

o wow cool good progress for ur 3rd month...after shower pull em apart aggressively til hear rip sound. they will feel diffrent afterward an be 3 separate good ones. this left alone will become a big thick 3 inch or wider dread. which may become heavy and acquire more attention wen washing an drying in future. not to mention may mold deep in the middle of the big dread if conditions stay moist inside. it is ur choice if u want to separate them i think id in ur case by ur picture, id separate these they look good tho progress wise. goodluck have a wonderful journey, good choice to go natural. peace
