Just joined and wanted to say hello. :)
Introduce Yourself
You sound awesome lol
Love your story
Just want to see if anyone else has to deal with this issue. I started with an A line bob (longer hair in front, short hair in back). My hair in the front reaches my shoulders and doesn't look super short, which I like. Only issue is, because of the awkward length in the back, the bottom layer of my hair is too short and wont dread up too well, and when i want to tie it up it doesn't stay up! I literally have to bobby pin the bottom layer of hair! So yea, just wanted to see if anyone else shares my pain lol
Ok, so I have a photoshoot coming up here soon and I need to know, what should I do to make these dreads look a little more sexy and less insane?! I know messy is beautiful and that is fine, but if you take a look at the pics I just posted, o man they are REALLY crazy! I am just looking for more "sexy crazy"... so if I could get your advice on what to do that would be great!
So when I go out places, I usually wear my hair in a ponytaildue to crazy messiness (they are only a month old). I have heard 2 different stories about wearing them in ponytail. Doesit help with the dreading process or hurt the dreading process? Also, just wanted to say I look on the forums here everyday but due to my phone being old, I'm not able to sign in and talk to anyone. YOU GUYS ROCK! I love all the info you guys have on here!
Thanks guys! I used it last night because it was all i had, But I did the twist & rip method and they are still very dreaded! Maybe I'll just be a lucky one who's hair was in bad enough shape to hold! i bleached it a lot.... anyways, i will look into something better for the next wash!
Can I use this to wash my dreads? I figure if it's gentle enough for my babies then it should be gentle enough for my baby dreads too right? Or am I wrong?
Thanks to all who helped me realize my messy dreads are still beautiful dreads! I even created my own alternative modeling site so that I can help others see the beauty too!
I never thoughtof it like that I suppose! As a model I usually try to think about what my fans would like to see in my photoshoots and I guess I never thought they would like messy... buthey, maybe they would! I guess I'll find out for my next photoshoot lol

theres a whole alternative modeling catagory with lots of dreaded models or models with heavy body modifications
besides whats so great about being perfect/ and why cant a mess be perfectly messy?
Hey guys! My name is Skully! I model for a site called Twisted Angels and I finally made the decision to have dreads! I have thought about it for months because it is a big step in my modeling career. My photosets wont look all that perfect with a mess of hair on my head! haha, but I'm ready for it! I did the twist and rip method and nothing else. Just letting these babies grow on their own now!
