Dreading Methods

What bothers me is that how some people can support this when it's a non debatable fact that it causes permanent hair damage; Specially when these people claim knowledge in dreads.

I find it a completely stupid manner, growing hair for years, and then just like that break that hair into small broken hairs in short hours. Makes me very sad to see people damaging their hair in such way.

Ironically, I see this type of comments in a lot of places which claim that there's a proper way to do crocheting and damaging only happens if you're doing it wrong.

Anyway, crocheting dreads is pure evil, and I really wish to see this --sadly, recognized as a dreading method by a lot-- ending soon...

I'm very sorry to hear this story, yet another police brutality story, in another spot of earth.

You would never need to cut your hair, just leave it and time will heal, should take couple of days to be alright, the dread will get weak spot depends on the amount of hair removed...

I'm not sure what's the hell wrong with authority and long hair, back in 2011 and 2012 there was protests and riots over here at Egypt, cops arrested and abused lots of peaceful protesters, they completely cut the hair of every single longhaired friend I've known, not only that but they bullied them badly.

I just don't know what's the hell wrong with cops, why don't they just do their job professionally? why don't they stop abusing innocent people and focus on real armed criminals instead?

Anyway, just forget this and keep your head up

Oh, that's outdated, they're 1 year old now, pretty mature, I do 1:10 ACV/water, I will try to leave it for less.

Would staying in sun for long periods cause such damage also?

Ahmed, you are only 2 months into your journey. The ratio for ACV is 1-2 capfuls of ACV mixed with 5 cups of water. Pour over wet hair once you rinsed out the shampoo or BS, then rinse it out right away or within one minute tops....Don't leave it in longer than that, 5 minutes is too long.....peace

I have the same problem, lots of damaged white hair in dreads that mostly face the sun, not sure what damaged them like that, I leave ACV only for 5 minutes...

Dreading Methods

This happens to me a lot these days, sometimes I look at my dreads, they're simply awesome, sometimes I hate looking at them. I can't figure out what causes this, maybe the general mood has do with this?

Anyway, never thought of holding the scissors to cut any of them, even though I'm depressed these days...
