Bon Voyage

Introduce Yourself

Oh and is there anything I can do in the mean time to kinda tame my frizzyness? Can I use aloe Vera gel? I don't exactly wanna look like an escaped mental patient in the mean time LOL. And if I end up with just a big nasty ball of no good? What do I do? Is that when I start to pull it into sections?

Is there anything else I should do besides wait? I'm surrounded by ocean so I have salt water, I've stopped towel drying (which may drive me nuts but I can deal..) anything else??

Introduce Yourself

Officially starting my natural journey. I only say official, because honestly I haven't combed my hair in years already lmao. I've just decided I won't do anything to stop natural dreads from forming. I had been using an organic conditioner, but I've ditched that and started the BS/ACV regimen again. It's been about 3 days and I already have sections..pretty surprised. I imagine it won't take long for me, as my hair naturally tries to dread, I've just never let it. I naturally have curly/wavy crazy hair so I figured why not let it do what it wants. I'm not in a rush. If it happens, awesome. If it takes forever that's okay too. I've been creeping for a while so I decided to come out and say hi :) I'm Rachel, and I'm from Vancouver island, in Canada.

Jojoba Oil

Dread Maintenance

Sounds good I can put a list together of essential oils and maybe some natural beauty tips for the ladies lol. Where would I put something like that?

Jojoba Oil

Dread Maintenance

Yep it's really the best. I learned all about it when I was working for lush, an all natural and hand made cosmetic company. I came out of that job with a great deal of knowledge on the benefits of what pretty much every essential oil and almost every other natural ingredient does for your hair and skin

Oh joy lol I take it it's not an "end of the world" party then since it goes on for a month. Sounds pretty cool though I've always wanted to see the Mayan ruins. They recently found a new mural that has dates 7,000 years past 2012. Wish I could be an archeologist but I'm in one spot for a while.
