my hair is about 5 inches long. i have pretty bad dandruff issues but i notice that my scalp feels so good when i scrub the shit out of it during my washes. I dont have any baby dreads yet but i have obvious sections. I recently started to Stop scrubbing my scalp while i BS/ACV my hair. Im confused because i hear some people say that you gotta do the "no touch wash" in order to obtain baby dreads. I want to know if anyone has obtained baby dreads/dreads by scrubbing there scalp every time they wash. i want to know if scrubbing your scalp will slow down the dreading process as apposed to not scrubbing
i was wondering what a good Essential Oil ratio would be per 5 cups of water. My last wash i did 12 Tea tree, 12 rosemary, 12 Patchouli, 5 Peppermint in about 5 cups of water with about 1/2 Baking soda. I have pretty bad dandruff so im just looking for personal opinions on what you may think is a reasonable ammount of Essential Oils, thanks
awesome thank you

Rinsing will not slow it down, it will probably speed it up.
cool good to know thank you. will rinsing everyday slow down the process?

Sure, wear that bandana, you can even cut the sleeve off a large t-shirt and use that. If you need to rinse after exercising, then do so. Your sections are young enough to dry quickly, so there should be no problem. When dreads are mature, washing every day may not be good, as they need to dry in between washes, but for now you are perfectly fine.
You don't need to wash after exercising, only rinsing should be fine.
Peace
Im starting to exersice every day and i find it really annoying to have my hair get in my eyes. Is it okay to wear a bandana while working out to keep my hair out of my eyes? or will wearing a bandana prevent the dreading process? also i want to know if i should be rinsing the sweat off my head after work outs on my days "off" from my BS washes. or should i just leave it be and wait till my next wash. Thanks

Hi there, your ratio was off. Try using 1/2 baking soda to 5 cups of water, rinse well after 10-20 minutes, then use 1-2 capfuls only of apple cider vinegar with 5 cups water , leave on for only 1 minute and rinse. Rinse off everything well, then finish off with a cold rinse to the head, as cold as you can take. Your ratio was off, so it did not completely exfoliate the scalp. Try this and let us know how it goes.
Peace
