the longer hair dreads faster and shrinks more drasticly
shoulder length might lose 1 or 2 inches waist length might lose ..well shrink to 1 or 2 inches
if you want dreads you should wantthem to grow and grow
they shrink the 1st year but then grow..mine started at 4 inches now they are 10 feet.. almost twice the length of my body and no plans to eer trim
if you trimmed before ou started they wuld only dread slower
excuse me for this but damn you look good at 40! beautiful
33 just means thicker dreads but not tooo extremely thick naturally they would blend better with 1-5 thick a couple dozen medium and several dozen thin "spacing' not being right? you mean uneven/ they look best with a total lack of spacing
all is fine however new natural dreads will form between dreads over time
just take the biggest section ..is it over ann inch at the scalp? bigger then a quarter r 1/2 dollar (if your american) a quarters a pretty thick dread 1/2 dollar even tho0ugh its not drasticly bigger then a quarter is a bit thicker then is generally recomended (for ease of care)
with thin and fine hair really having only 1 or 3 thick ones for a bit of body a dozen medium o more for volume and dozens more thin to fill in gaps gives the illusion of a whle lot more hair
like i said thogh you'll get thin ones popping up from time to time

1 stop doing what your doing! you ned to remove the wax before we got wax b gone most dreads did not survive wax.. its a scam and dread killer
crochet is pure brutality
dreads need to get t looppy and wild in the early months (they will NEVER DREAD if you keep doing what your doing)
wash your hair! washing youur hair is the only thing you need to get dreads! most sites lie your now on the 1 honest site you can rust
yu need to wash from day 1 and hats it..wash and seperate never ever ever crochet or use waxx!
let them get loopy lumpy and crazy they will eventually straighten out BUT THIS IS HOW THEY DREAD! its essential
if they don't loop they don't dread
so right now get the wax b gone (and shampooo never use anything from knottyboy) use the wax b gone then wash (work in a generouse amount of wax b gone into wet dreads (hot water) squeezee it in deep then wait at least 10 minutes or ,onger then wash with as hot of water as you an stand..repeat this process every 3 days..and do it at least 5 or 10 times after your convinced theres no possible way there could still be wax in them..its that evil bbefore wax b gone it survived 10 years of washing even boiling..its evil stuff
if you pajd someone to do this demand a refund
throw the crochet hook in the trash stop rubbing and rollig and do nothing ut wash and separate and wait for them to dread
they look like sticks
short dreads will stick up but when they are stiff and look like sticks not hair its really bad
they are way too tight to dread

yea see how easy it is to diagnose things? I have a very close to 100% rate of guessing what was done to the dreads simply by symptoms like you described
..well lets say 99.8% theres always a confusing case from time to time
thats the "squeeky' feeling people describe like a grinding..its al the hairs inside that were broken
if you used a crochet hook yes thats the broken hairs grinding on eachother
