No reason to keep the frizzies at bay unless you have somewhere to go like a wedding or such. Then you can use 100% aloe and take just a little and palm roll it onto each lock. As it dries it shrinks and pulls int those frizzies. But again, there's no real need to do anything. Those loose hairs get tangled and pulled into the lock helping tighten them and give them moregirth

id also recomend natural but tnr isnt a bad choice just do it gently not too tight

why would u want to contriol the sizes besides keeping em from getting too big?

they look best all diferent sizes

your bummed that they are loose when thety are just 2 weeks old? how do u expect them to be fully formed mature dreads in weeks? it takes time! they tighten slowly as knots form and tighten and dreads shrink.. the 1st 2-3 months after backcombing will be more loosening then tightening but its part of the process

dont worry dont get bummed..enjoty the journey!

emobve tghe wax and bands..today not this weekend all traces of wax must be removed

wash your hair1 u should be wasghi9ng 1-3 times a week

dry shampoo dont do niothinyg u gotta wash

the bands and wax must cvome out evenb if uit means starting over

do noyt tey to tighten the4m let them tighten themselves even if they loosen 1st

dont do nothing to the roots

all u gotta do is remove wax and bands and wash wash wash

general rule of thumb

if its under a month comb out remove wax start over if over a month remove wax

reason beiong they will dreads much faster wax free.. and it can take bout 3 months to remove a coupe wax applications and u may never be sure u got it akll

some choose to just try to get it out others choose to start over even after a few years its a judgment call on your part but as a general rule of thumb thats what i usualy recomend

i hid mine for a ioffice job

1st day on the job i let em loose (dont tell her just dont hide it either)

as soon as i let em out the pres of the comp walks by and just says "wow" then that was that

a year goes by and they are making promo materials..calander posters mugs that sorta thing they featured my pic along with the whole (small) office staff (but i was front center) on all the promo stuff as part of the corporate image

i wouldnt say a word

i would tie em up neatly when u want let em down when u want let thenm ask u about it then u just say im letting it dread for spiritual reasons and leave it at that

ct confused if they act like they got a problem with it and just say would you stop a jew from wearing a yamikas or a muslim a burka?'

well your brother possibly tho saying i bet thats whast her hair feels like i wouldnt say that is just cause shes got dreads and uyea it feels like dreads ..i guess it could be behind it biut wouldnt say specificly the statement itself is and can be perfectly innocent too

i mean she coulda substututed any other nanme its just possible thats the 1st name to come to mind

well..it will take extra time it should tho some sait they gently picked at it with a fork even

yea but takes awhile comb or brush gently use loads of conditioner or olive ouil keep adding more soaking em go slow work on just the last lil bit of knots if u reach a spot that wont come loose massage in conditioner work it in deep and move on to a diferent dread come back later to try again
