Fighting the "good" fight!
Life Issues Facing Dreads
you can fight to not cover or tie em up as well unless its a legit safety factor
you can fight to not cover or tie em up as well unless its a legit safety factor
peace yours are how old might just take lil longer is all
have u trierd the bs wash?
typicaly the back dreads best cause u sleep on it do you oftebn tuck your hand under your head so maybe fu=inger combing accidently?
best thing to do is to not tnr again! let it be its only a month almost 2 they get looser the 1st 3 months then dread its normal by tnr ing again you set it back to squawre 1
it will dread naturaly if u let it..meaning dont ,mess with it at all
but
u can also add beads that will help it along..or peyote stitches which are more confy to lay on
wear a tam or scarf
u might get some dust in em still but its ok
crazy cool dreads but definately switch to a dread freindly shampoo and watch em dread like crazy
if you dreaded while conditioning it will dread fast with the right shampoo
yea i wouldnt congto till they thicken ansd matur
then i wouldnt let em get too giant
i didnt let mine confgo till 18 or 19 years in
well not intentionaly had a couple accidental ones
yea skip the aloe tho if youir black it will be good to moisturize with it otherwise dont use it
all dsish soaps residue free or your dishes..and food..will taste like soap
fairy liquid is the brittish equivelqant
you just want the best dish soap for cutting grease
and use as hot water as u can stand u can do it in the shower not boiling hot as possible and use lots of the soap and scrub llike crazy work it in deep rinse..repeat keep doing it alot
acv/white the diferences that matterare acidity and the ingredients and way its processed give em slightly diferent properties
like the diferences between raw and refined sugar
when u tnr then your setting back progress you just want to leave em alone
try sleeping o0n the back of your head
seperating keeps them from growing together thats all you should be doing
\yea interlockings a bad idea
the dread braiduing wasnt too great either
can u post pics of front sides and back?
the braiding the roots as in interlocking? abd the root rubbing and trying to tighten the roots were all bad
u want to leave the roots alone do nothing to tighten the roots
let them tighten themselves over time
as i see it your just another victim of bad information
everything youve done to the roots has harmed them
stoip it all
stop rubbing
stop braiding
stop doing anything to the loose hairs
stop messing with the roots completely
wash them
seperate them weekly or..maybe less for a bit every couple weeks unlress they get hard to seperate then more often
give them 3 months of doing next to nothing to them and then you wuill see a diference starting
were you black i think you said? id do a good treatment of a mix of aloe and jojoba to give em a lil bit of a treatment to prevent more breakage
if your not rubbing and interlocking they will be fine
