Can hair stylists have dreadlocks???

General Questions

your page said you latch hooked your dreads that alreaduy is a huge mistake

thats something you never want to do

but clarify for me

did you

a) use the latch hook to interlock or pullthe entire dread through a gap in the roots thereby causeing a weak spot more klikely to break and causing extreme tension on the roots likely to cause traction alopecia and maybe someday bald spots

oir

b) use it toi pull loose hairs through the dread or roots thereby breaking hairs creating more loose hairs and evebtualy causing weakness?

one thing the salons dont teach is the best thinbg to do to dreads is almost nothing

but they cant cgarge oputragios prices unless thwy do lots of harm then have to repair that harm constantly

if yiu dread again take a more natural low to no maintenance approach

and if you work in a salon and ppl come to you for dreads ..teach them the rioght ways to care for them

id like to offer advice since ive seen alot of brain injury patienrts

brains heal bvery slowly and tho it might seem like aextremely severe after the surgery make damn sure they get her into the best reg=hab hospitol you can find even if its thousand miles away

too often brain injury patients are labled vegatables right away and warehoused in nursing homes where they have zero impri=]ovement now even if all she can do is drool and nothingelkse get her into the best rehab you can find that specializes in brain injury and chances are she will show a massive improvement..however..this can take well over a year

swelling in the brain takes a year to go dowb=n recent developm ents probly imprioved that some and recovery is getting better very year

so no matter how bad it seems never give up on full or mnearly full recovery and get her the best chances u can by getting her into the best rwhab hospitol you can find.,in the country dont be selfish and want to keeop her local so u can visyit send her where she will get the absolute best care

(dont mean u u you them talk to her patrents and advise them with what i said)

wax remover from dreadlockshampoo.com

Dread Products

vicky from dreadlockshampoo.com has perfected the new wax b gone dread wax remover

and has tested it by smearing a ton of wax on her dread way overwaxing to the piint where it stuck to her neck, and stiuck straight out and collected every bit of lint she can=me in contact with.

she was grossed out by it but left it in 24 hours then used the wax b gone one time and it was all removed!

note however that its not been tested on years old waxc in mature dresads but it should be strong enough although probably will take several applications to remove all wax.

the ingredients are

orange oil lemon oil lime oil grapefruit oil

there is no way to make it any stronger without adding harsh chemicals

this is the strongest all natural safe wax remover possible.

it will take about a week to print up lavbles and get a large supply made to be ready to ship

she believes it will cost lil more then the shampoos to make but will probably sell it for the same prive as the shampoos to help battle the plague of waxy dreads

Good or bad way to create dreads?

Dreading Methods

its best to not "make dreads' but instead allow dreads to hsppen but out of all the ways to fiordse dreads to start that is the best way

Hi! Question...

Introduce Yourself

if thety do form big fatties qui=uickly u might want to seperate those more often i[other as needed u will get a fewel for it u want to let em knot but not to the point where they are rrseal hard to seperate so find a ballance between letting them progress and keeping a biyt of control

instead of combinning 2 fatties into a mega fatty sencourage loose hairs to form several thinnies betwen fatties this makes it more blended a more full look u can have 3 massive fatties and seem like huge gaops between or 400 tinies with no gaps betwen (unless way over tightened like sisterlocks)

but if its thin next to thicj=k next to medium they tend to blend fill in gaps and look great

let em recover from crochet mor and seoerate as koose hairs appear in the gaps the loose hairs fill the gaps with soft hair thwt then will become new babvy dreass and solve the problem for good
