Finally committing to freeform journey
Introduce Yourself
that's awesome and just 6 days you see progress and can already see how they will form
that's awesome and just 6 days you see progress and can already see how they will form
just make sure that none are forming too thick
yea it will get more managable
i know exactly what you mean..luckily i started dreading before i even knew manufactured dreads existed
your doing fine you will have to keep ontop of separating it seems
but the part that's dreading fastest is cause that's the side you sleep on
those are loops they are essential to dreading
99% suck in and disappear just to be surface texture
nothing to worry bout ..you'll get more then less
its just the stage they are in now
ok ill look into it in the morning gimme a couple days though maybe to figure it out (exhausted right now)
never retwist that only causes balding
they most likely sectioned them way way way too big so they are trying to split
and im certain they did everything wrong
you should not try for a neater look..especially when so young they take time to dread and have to be messy in the process
if you aren't ready for a mess and to just leave them alone then maybe dreads aren't for you
well, air dryings best as for bands and hats as lil as possible as loose as possible ideally tying back with a dread instead
wool hats can be helpful if rather loose allowing movement
but being free is best
well the shampoos you wash with and the towel drying can be the reason why
but its always dreading and something your doings undreading it
btw if u separate to prevent thick you can have natural organic (as aposed to natural freeform) then later let em congo if you want thicker
i don't mean pre-section or make artificial.. just keep any from being too big
