when you want to break down oils and remove buildup you can most likely use only acv
baking soda is great at exfoliation (removing dead skin) but that's because of its harshness
if your just trying to remove excess oils i think acv should be all youd want to use
and if you experience enough residue to need to use it id switch what you wash with
1-12 is the min dilution and should still be plenty soapy some go as high as 40-1 and say it might not suds as well but still cleans fine
and i think i would try just the acv 1st
probably the acv woulrd be the most effective .. i think
ok just keep an eye on them ..you are borderline so might get away with using it..
well with moderately hard feel your dreads after for stickiness or oiliness
if u feel either stop using it
if i remember right you have very hard water if so you cannot dilute bronners enough to not cause buildup from hell
in hard water the buildup can be as bad as wax
if you do not have hard water it should rinse easily even undiluted but should be diluted 12-1 or more
many use over 20 times more water then soap
if your water is over the moderately hard range (in or over i should say) then don't us bronners
well are you using bar or liquid (use liquid if young)
wetness is key
went the hair well
then re-wet a section i do like a 1/4 quadrant like right front wet it just before applying soap
if the bar...wet the bar too
apply it rub it in good ..use as much as you want the liquid though will be easy to use too much and be rinsing suds out forever filling the shower with suds (happened to me the other day 1st time using the liquid in months)
if needed give the section a LIGHT sprinlkle while lathering just to get a lil more water in the mix..you should get plenty of lather as long as its wet enough
and it isn't minutes after wetting so re-wet the segment before applying ..
