what your seeing (i think) is its forming a hair helmet like structure that could potentialy become a unidread or close to it its all matting together into 1 structure

you may find that if u separate into individual dreads u will regain 1/4 inch or so each time and it will grow out not in

right now (i think) its growing into 1 thick matt

u say u can pull it out to several inches

i think separating will help it be close to that long

im kinda guessing however just my impression

was wax ever used even once? do u use a sea salt spray or any other products

im guessing your using dhhq shampoo wich is not a dreadlocks shampoo its a hunting shampoo sold as a dread shampoo thats why its scentless

its also very toxic causes dandruff psoriasis dermatitis and cancer

you can try the baking soda deep cleanse with teateee and rosemary or the dreadlockshampoo

for dandruff

no hot water

teatree (lil bit) rosemary (lot more)

bronners liquids better but only if u got soft water in hard water its a disaster (liquid cause it should be diluted a whole lot)

you can use baking soda and acv to wash instead

teatree wont do a thing for flyaways and you shouldnt try to contril them they should be left alone so they can dread in

teatree is a medicinal anticeptic that also helps prevent bugs its good for dandruff to an extent rosemary added is even better

blow dry in quick short bursts coolest setting u can hot if u must but move it around quickly dont blow for long instead blow a min wait several min ot longer b4 hitting it with another quick blast
