was it interlocked r twisted the bad spot should go away but u may have to massage the scalp to increase bloodflow use an essential oil that stimulates bloodflow to the skin biotin might be a good option too and look up thinning dreads discussion in featured discussions..posted by me but about jay simmons issues (twisting damage) read especialy panterras advice

Help! Save My Dreads

have u done anything that may cause this? palm rolling? anything?

only possibility is push the bottom part up till the strong parts meat and the thin part dpuvbles over

then wrap wrap wrap from a few inches above to a few inches below (or whole dread) to form like a soft caste holding them together till the weak part dreads into the solid parts

if you do any maintenance besides separation ..stop

if u use rubber bands when tying up or styling..stop.. if u do too tight styles stop oh..if youve used baking soda and acv a long time exclusively switch to the dreadlockshampoo

sometimes theres nothing u can do it will break and trying to fix it will just speed that up

other times it will fix itself

that wrappings probably the only safe thing worth trying

bruising shouldnt be happening except and i only mention this as a possibility but if you work out alot..and dont eat correctly you could be malnourished your skin weeakening and the weight of your skull pressing on the skin as you sleep bruising you?

thats all i can guess since often working outs linked to losing weight wich could be an eating disorder type sutuation

i know im reaching for straws there haha but that and possibly an alergty to the soaps all u can possibly imagine

stop the vinager and the soap use the teatree rosemary bars

skip working out for a week or 2 (just to cover all bases) when the itch is under control resume working out see if it returns

the dreadlocks shampoo bars are much better but bs/acv has the advantage of being a no touch method so early on its helpful also its a deep cleanse that really removes dirt better then anything out there and exfoliates if your scalps a mess it removes the dead skin like nothing else will

i stopped using it tho when i found dreadlockshampoo.com and now mine are healthier then ever
