point is for many dreads have very deep meanning and just letting them damage thier dreads can be devestating when 8 years in they have to start over do to destroying them with bad advice
and the point is that to be accepting of all methods you have to be willing to lie and say they are all fine to use wich isnt the case at all
its 1 thing to accept that they are aware of the damage and dont care..at that point yes its just thier hair they can use super glue for all i care ..but to damage the dreads cause they are unaware or simply choose not to believe is a diferent story
and yea crochet dreads will alwats "look fine" even nbafter falling off multiple times they can be crochetted right back on
a bridge or building can collapse even though it "looks fine" just cause micro stress fractures that cant be seen cause it to fall apart
remember the space shuttle explosion? didnt that "look fine" right up till kaboom?
the "looks fine" arguments nonsence since the damage is internal an d cant be seen till u stop crocheting and see all the broken hairs pop out everywhere
as long as i crochet you crochet just to hide the damage your causing
