vinegar first:baking soda last?

I have never smelled ...nor has my old man smelled vinegar in my hair and I have always even before I started this journey it to rinse my hairIt leaves it so clean and fresh...and fungus hates acid so if you have or want to prevent problems it is great for thatI knew this all made sense when I saw Bonners.. baking soda and vinegar as all you needed for great clean dreads! Because aside from a good oil treatment once a month..this is how I already cared for my hair for probably 20 or more years all I had to do was toss the brush and cut out the oil...and my hair in a very short time is sectioning and locs are forming nicelyReally if the smell bugs you as SE says just use less it is great for your hair and scalp

I sense discoarse and really is that what this is about? Really of course anyone can do anything to hair and it is just hair ...your hair....this seemed like an open topic....but I feel some aggitation all over this baord bescause...it is normal for folks to slit and fraction.?

Sorry for stopping by ...I think until this under current of discord stops I will back off and other than enjoy photos stay away

I can not imagine using wax on a journey to dreads..maybe because I am old enough to be patient...I am a professional who needs to have hair in order for work as well...The way your hair stands up....great pic but they do look stiffAnd yes to each his or her own...dreads always were in my opinion a journey of learning,freedom and letting go of control something it has taken most of my life to do... now I realize..for some it is a hair stylecertainly is your choice what you want to doYou are darling..remain happy then!I will say after visiting other boards I came here because of the fact this board leads towards the journey...not hairstyle...there are tons of folks out there looking for style

As a mother I am glad you sacrificed one more time for her she as so little time left with you that giving her "this one" is the sign of a grown man in my opinion of those I have many...You have the rest of your life are moving forward your dreads should come naturally then...besides this is part of the journey to so no time lostIt is wonderful you want to learn "Why" first as well

I just put a couple in to hold two apart they were turning into a nest of one giant loc ...I know it wanted to go into a giant loc but really it was huge and looked like a rat ...I split it ..it would go back over and over ...so I split it and put beads on each one as place holders

Oh man I have to find some big clips! I am down to one and it is looking pretty ratty right now all the color has worn off

on a regular day my hair is a nest so now that the dreads are starting (totally natural with a bit of twist and rip because I am hyper and it gives me something to do!) it is really looking good but I have to clip it back and up at work...

I want something nice enough that will hold a lot of hair back and look good

yes I have wrapped with headbands and that is fine and looks good ..but I really like pretty clips

I am getting worried there is no such thing big enough anymore ?

can you help me please find something to wrap around my mop of budding dreads?
