dreadlocks shampoo review after extended use

Dread Products

Heather, please keep us updated with your results. I have many of the same issues as you (e.g. hard water, fine air) and find that generally what works for you will work for me. :) Thanks.

Thank you! It will be so nice to try something that doesn't have eucalyptus in it.

If making a mix for sinuses, what is the ratio for peppermint to jojoba?

Baba Fats said:

If you use it for sinuses always mix it with the Jojoba first though. Or Almond oil. It will burn like hell otherwise

is it possible to cut dreadlocks a lil shorter..

General Questions

I have a related question. When I had my hair backcombed I was asked if I wanted blunt tips or tapered tips. I answered "tapered" What I ended up with though looks to me like blunt tips with tails. My sister said it looked like I had a head full of tampons. lol. Anyways...I would like to cut off the tails, but I'm afraid that the knots would fall out. Does anyone have any advice?

Dreads and CPAP machines

General Talk

Hey y'all!

I'm hoping someone could give me some advice. I started my dreads about a week ago, backcomb method. I have to sleep with a CPAP machine, but the headgear is smushing my fragile babies so that they are flat. I know that it is early in the process and I should probably just relax and let them do their thing :) but if I'm doing real damage to them I'd like to know early rather than late. So...does anyone out there use a CPAP machine? If so, do you do anything special? Have you had any problems caused by the headgear? Any help would be appreciated. Oh...one thing I have learned is to keep hook-and-loop fabric (e.g. Velcro) away from my locs. :)
