Soap question

Introduce Yourself

Hmm, I might get sth from there, but this might take a while, so if I would need sth to wash my dreads soon, what should I use? HmmI don't have any special washing methods (should I?), I just try to wash the roots, but at the same time I wash my dreads no matter if I want that or not, you know it is not easy to get down to the roots :D Well and if speaking bout the length of my hair in some places it is at least few centimeters that are not locked ( I wanna remind, that I went natty way from crochet) and in other places it seems like whole dread got unlocked or at least I have some hair in that length.

Introduce Yourself

Hey guys it is about 7 or 8 months Imma growin my dreads natty way, and sad, but I can't say that I see some real locking, but I try to stay patient. And I may upload some pics later if you would check dem out and comment how it looks to you.
But now Imma writin because I ran out of soap for my dreads, and I would like to ask, what should I use? What is the best for my dreads? And if the thing is natural, that would be a great plus too.

I know that there will be some loose hair all the time, but I would just love to finally see some knotting on those loose hair :D And I'm thinking about some special salt, that as I heard would speed up the locking process. Is this really true? And if yes, than could you advice any product?

General Talk

Hey there, I just uploaded few pics, that are really low quality (sorry for that, don't have better options atm), but still, could the ones who really know about crochet recovery, say anything about my dread, and the roots? and maybe about how much I'll have to wait, till those loose hair (photo of my back!) will dread? Frustration rises, at it looks that this will never happen :D

Okaaay, maybe I have problems :D

and with all the ripping I noticed that few times I may have ripped some semi-loose hair from lock, you know the hair is not fully in the dread but top of the hair is inside in the dread, and I ripped few of those. I hope I won't do lots of damage this way in my regular locks separating process?

Help! Save My Dreads

ahh, just ripped some hair there and there, you know I would love to totally neglect them, but because the process is so slow, I just can't hold myself and like now just did some ripping, man I have to stop this, and let them do their thing, but soo hard, when you don't know what will come out from all of this...

dunno what about you, but as I look to couple of my photos that are here, my head is covered with lots of thin dreads, so I believe that nothing bad will happen if couple of them will congo, especially when I really love Bob Marley kinda dreadlocks, if you understand what I mean :D
