Dreading Methods

so i've been doing the natural method for like nine days now and i'm actually liking the messy look i have! but when i section my hair everyday it takes me FOREVER. my largest section it about 1" but my hair is SUPER curly with tight ringlets and it seems like each ringlet wants to be its own dread. i dont want that, because i don't want super small dreads. i'm not really sure what to do because my hair get tangled easy and makes weirdly shaped sections when i try to put some of the curls together. i'm not really sure what to do with them. any advice would be appreciated :)

Introduce Yourself

i do and it is really sad. i wish more people were open to new ideas and accepted people for who they were. i was in my english class the other day and were have a group discussion and peopl always comment on my hair because it so curly! so i told them i was dreading it. luckily the girls i that i was talking to were pretty open and let explain, because like most people they assumed you don't wash your hair when you dread it. i wish more people would at least listen and not jump to conclusions >.>

but luckily my mom thinks it is soooo cool lol. i just wonder what my grandparents are gonna say

Washing Dreads/Hair That Is Dreading?

Dread Maintenance

Well until recently i was wetting my hair everyday, just out of habit and i'm pretty sure i shouldn't do that, so i got a tam! problem solved.but i'm not sure what to wash it with besides something that is residue free. i was using my tigi shampoo, but it's probably not residue free an it's moisturizing lol so i probably shouldn't use it anyways. so today when i washed it i use this all natural bar soap. is that ok? it's seriously all natural, i looked at the ingredients.

So i'm thinking my hair will dread up pretty quickly, just because of the texture(soft, but frizzy, and tight tangly curly).

Also, how often should i beseparatingmy hair? They all seem to get tangled up into one another... I usually do i in the morning and the afternoon andintermittentlyduring the day.
