i started my dreads 15 months ago and no more progress..i have half locked half straight hair..some hair isnt even trying to lock..what to do? any help is appreciated>..i use dr.b pepermint every 4 days.diluted 12 to 1..what else can i do to push along my knots? wash thinling of crocheting once every year to encourage knots..i have fine straight hair when i started them with the backcomb method..no wax

no i dont dilute it.. i've been putting an m&m size amount in one palm and fill the other palm with water.. rub my hands together to lather it up and rub it in my dreads. then rinse good..then i wash the dreads with dr. b peppermint , diluted of course washing just the dreads no scalp to retain the knottyness..rinse and spritz it with sea salt spray.. so u have a dandruff free scalp with knotted dreads.. i like to think theres a happy medium..lol

neutrogena t/sal works amazingly. it fixed my problems.....fragrance free,no colors,no preservatives.. after every wash which is twice a week i spray sea salt mix on my hair avoiding the scalp...miracle. once a month i use bs/teatree/rosemary wash and then acv rinse...any feed back.. wanna see if anyones used it and got these results.. my dreads are 11 months old....

well i recently got a landscaping job. its real dusty dirty with everything in the air flying around.. i wear a visor so my dreads can air dry and not stay damp.. any suggestions on keeping my process going while working this demanding and most times dirty job... thanks every one...

Dreads Hair and Scalp Health

sure this has been asked before but search and didnt find an answer.. when you dilute dr.b in a seperate bottle 12-1..its real watery 18oz sprite bottle..i add 5 drops teatree and 10 drops rosemary.. do i use some of the bottle or just dump it on my head like a bs/acv rinse thanx fellow dreadies........

hair knot matting up..............

hey knotty members i'm looking for some advice... for 10 months my hair seems to be dreading really well except for 2 places....their not matting up.. a few strands in the front by the forehead..and the very bottom row of hair down by my neck.... i was thinking that neck area maybe not matting due to it rubbing against my shoulder and hoodies and such... was wondering whythat is and what to due about it..or just let them be... i wash with dr.bpep. and bs teatree/rosemary.. i use the bs/tt/r every 4th wash...thanx everyone...........

hey everyone i'm new here but have been geeting tips here for 10 months.... this web site is awesome from all the members to soaring eagle......just wanted to know from fellow dreadheads how my locks are looking? i had bone straight silky blonde hair and 10 months later i have the making of great knatty knotty hair.......i backcombed at first and them at the start and then just let them be.....no wax.... and i wash with dr.b and baking soda/teatree/rosemary..... i rotate the washings. i wash the locks twice a week....big fan of the site and if my hair dreads everyones will...........
