Dreadlockshampoo.com- Liquid or Bar Soap for baby dreads?

Dread Products

I say the liquid will lock it up crazy fast! In the last 3 months I have had an outburst of baby dreads forming from new growth but I wash once a week with the bars for some moisture and the other time or 2 with the liquid.

Yeah I thought the same thing of writing down the site on a bunch of paper pieces and just keeping them in my wallet just in case. Though I usually don't get those kind of responses to my dreads but I think I should do it for that next person who inquires about my dreads.

I had an African American girl yesterday ask who put my dreads in for me. I told her that they are natural. She then said u put them in urself? I said no, all I do is wash 2-3 times a week and nothing else. I explained u know how u brush ur hair and ur brush catches those snags and she said yeah, that's ur hair starting to dread on its own naturally. She then asked if I used bees wax and I said ain't no way I'll use that crap. I told her the name of this site so she can get dreaducated. She then said she should go get micro braids and I said no. Why spend all that money when all u need is to wash with a good residue free shampoo? She said it'd be faster for dreads and I said no it won't! Just check out the website I said and nice chatting with ya. She said the same and also love ur locks.

I have a bald spot on my crown after following DHHQ's "specific directions" for about 3mths then came across this site. After about a yr of failed attempts on wax removal I just cut them off. Now 28mths natural and washing 1-2 times a week with dreadlockshampoo.com this set isn't doing bad. My problem is that thining bald spot is still there and thining and weakness at the roots still for some reason and a few broke off due to dryness that I think is now under control.

Dry, brittle hair

Dread Products

Yeah I always wash/rinse with cold water. I lather the bar in my hand then apply to scalp and continue until I get a nice lather. Run a quick sweep of water over my head and continue scrubbing with finger tips. Rinse well the a really cold rinse to finish. Yeah think I'm going back to liquid from www.dreadlockshampoo.com .

Dry, brittle hair

Since I can only look thru here very little on my iPhone and can't find my original post from a week or 2 ago I'm just doing it this way.Anywho eagle mentioned to start using the dreadlock shampoo bars since they moisturize. I used them before and then after washing the other day with the tea tree one I just got I then remembered why I stopped using the bars. The bars leave me extremely flakey! Anyone else have this problem? I mean not only my hair and scalp but also my face and beard. Starting to think that the bars don't work so well with really hard water so I'm going back to the liquid and the dryness.
