Daily workout, washing?

Dread Maintenance

I just started the insanity workout today, and its going to be pretty sweat intensive. I've seen to wash 2-3 times a week, but is it okay to rinse them daily? I know my head's going to get a little stinky after doing this workout every day, so I didn't know if washing it wasn't okay if there was something else I could do to get them smelling a little cleaner between washes.

Also, about 5 weeks into my dreads now and I'm still just as happy with them as the day I started them :D I intended to have pics up earlier, but I lost the cord to my camera. So as soon as I find it, I'll have some up.

Greetings :) New to dreads

Introduce Yourself

Hello there everyone, my name's Shiloh and I just stumbled upon this site while I was looking for some tips for my new dreads. I started them a week ago and I'm completely in love with them. Just wanted to say hello to everyone, and I should have some pictures up later tonight.

I have a lot of loose hairs and I'm trying not to fret about it too much, since I've seen a lot of posts on here just saying to wait it out and be patient. I'm also trying to go as natural as possible, so I haven't and don't plan on using wax. So far the only thing I've used is the dread tightening gel from Knottyboy, but I always prefer more natural approaches to things.

I look forward to being a part of this community for a while :)
