I haven't tried adding oils, a lot of people do, though...I think only a few drops per cup...then rinse out thoroughly...maybe don't pour it on your scalp, just the dreads? Hoping SE will see this and clarify for you']

Hello!!! My dreads are 15 months old andwhen I put them up in a ponytail,
the long ones kinda stick up and they just feel a little dry. Any suggestions to what I could use to make them a little softer?
your dreads are drunk? assume u meant shrunk not drank?
but congrats and at a year they wil be starting to grow back what hey lost
