Article Critique: "White People and Dreadlocks: A Problematic Union"

History and Religious Significance

thats a one sided view and interpretation of life itself. ignorance is written all over it, people with dreads dont have to be rasta..i grew my dreadlocks because its a natural extension of my head. Hair locks no matter what color or culture or religion you belong to...we're all from the same place.

Washing

Dread Maintenance

So I've generally been using a residue free shampoo to wash but very rarely... Once a month or less :/ however today is the first time I've used the bs acv wash and found it to be great! My hair feels so clean and soft :) anyways I was able to find teatree oil and cocoa butter but I was wondering where I would be able to get Rosemary and jasmine and thyme oil? Help appreciated.. Bless

New Here :D

Introduce Yourself

Eventually your are going to have to break out of that shell. Dreads can be seen and interpretted possibly by your father as something counter to his belief yet it is a direct representation of yourself inside. Keep in mind you'll soon be 18 and forced with your own decisions anyways. Maybe educate him more on them and talk more about the subject.

how do u test your hairs ph?

Dread Products

Get a litmus strip ph tester and Saturate a small amount of water (neutral) With your hair in a cup then see where it ends up on the test. Just an idea
