cutting dreads? donate to cancer patients

Thanks for the response. I have been searching the internet for another organisation that will accept dreadlocks and have, as of yet, been unsuccessful.

Hi all,
I know this post hasn't been used in a while but I hope someone can answer me anyway. I have been trying to contact this charity to donate my hair to them but have gotten no response. Does anyone know if they are still in operation. If not, does anyone know of any other organisation that does something similar?
Hello all!
I have been dreading for over 2 years now. I still have a LOT of loose hairs and friz, but I have just accepted that that's the way my hair is. However, this summer I will be getting married, and I would like to have a little "cleaner" look for my wedding day. Therefore I am looking for some advise on how I can get rid of some of the friz (I have used aloe in the past, but it just doesn't seem to do the job) and I would also appreciate if anyone could recommend some "up do's" for guys. My dreads go about half way down my back.
Thanks in advance!
