3 or 4 Months i think...

General Questions

I wash either once a week or once every 2 or 3 days.

And i have been just letting my hair Air Dry. But only because i have not been told the best way to dry it.

And i tend to shake my hair around when i get out the shower to try to dry it a bit faster and stop the dripping and so forth. should i stop swinging my hair around? Will it cause it to undo progress or what?

3 or 4 Months i think...

General Questions

And since i have really thick straight hair i have seen little process. BUT i do have these 4 baby dreadies. Yes only 4 babies in my 4 months. But im not going to let it discourage me. I will post a picture to this to show what it looks like from the back.

You cant see the 4 Babies because they are on the inside layer of the back. Behind all the rest of the back.. But i just wonder how long it will take to actually see a bit more progress !

I know it will progress faster as my hair gets longer and i use Shampoo from www.dreadlockshampoo.com Because i DO have hard water, and the Shampoo works in hard water.

And i used to use the Sea salt spray from the same site but havnt used it for the past month.

Believe it or not i havnt touched a comb in 2 years.

Any advice for Really Thick Straight hair would be really appriciated.

Ill be buying the soaps from your shops as soon as i get paid. do you reccomend bar soaps or the liquid? cant decide which would be better with my water type.

And is the himilayan sea salt spray on the shops worth buying aswell? does it work or do you know? i was thinking on buying it but wanted to take it up with you before i do buy it.

Question .

Dread Maintenance

Well ive been trying to wash every 3 days with baking soda and acv. But as you know i have hard water and its a pain with BS + ACV. So i tried to boil my water for about 30 minutes to see if there would be anything at the bottom of the pan and i didnt see anything. but i did see a film at the top of the water.... is there a way to know if the water is good to use after i boil it?

And i just scrub my scalp around the sections and flat palm around some places. and then rinse.

Dread Maintenance

Ive noticed that alot of them that ended up sectioning together are coming lose after a wash. Is this normal? should i just leave it be and leave them alone regardless if they come loose?

Hard Water Problems..

Dread Maintenance

Okay i just have another quick question now.

So basically.....

1. i get a big jug put about 1/3 cup of BS in the jug... Stir around until its all broke up.

2. Pour on my head.

3. Let it soak on my hair while i go about my buisiness.

4. Then in about 20-30 minutes. Rinse the BS out?

Basically i need to know where the ACV comes in.... Like which of the following do i do.

-After 30 minutes Pour ACV on my head WITH BS still on my head?

-Or after 30 minutes Rinse out the soaking BS first and then Pour ACV on my head?

And do i rinse the ACV out after awhile? or do i simply just get out of the shower with the ACV still on my head...

Basically these are my biggest BS + ACV Questions. I have both but dont know the correct order/way to do it.

And does it work in hard water?

Sorry for the huge list of questions.

Hard Water Problems..

Dread Maintenance

So since i have hard water should i be diluting the soaps i have so they wont be so harsh?

(And can i just use baking soda rince instead of adding the ACV to it? because it seems the acv makes my hair feel funny. so would it be fine to use just BS?
