General Questions

Mine seemed to slow down around 11 months too, and really picked back up about month 13!

Dread Maintenance

I'd definately suggest a rosemary rinse, and perhaps hold back on the tea tree for a few days, are you still doing a lot with the salt? If so maybe cut back on that for a few days too, or try your darndest to keep it off your scalp? I hope it starts getting better, I know mine got worse when I stopped rinsing off in cold water since it got cold outside...maybe that could be a culprit as well?

Tips of dreads growing into dreads...normal?

Help! Save My Dreads

its happening to a lot of mine too, I just ignore it mostly some I pull back down if they're not "very attached" otherwise if it's the same as what's happening to me it's pretty much what SE is saying, they're kinda blunting themselves.

Making Tams

Introduce Yourself

My grandmother has a loom kit that I've been wanting to use, just be sure to not wrap too tightly, because the hats can come off pretty tight.

Introduce Yourself

I've had a really hard time finding a pattern that works for me, so I just keep trying and failing and adapting other patterns to perhaps work for me lol, good luck!!!

INTERLOCKING!!!

Help! Save My Dreads

from what I can tell and remember from conversations, while this can be harmful, if you go to doing nothing to them and let them heal themselves they should recover on their own! (don't quote me tho, it's late and I'm trying to remember exactly what I've read lol)

Dread Maintenance

Wash with Baking Soda and then do a ACV rinse, sea salt spray perhaps, or add some sea salt into your BS mixture, otherwise keep your hands out and stop looking in the mirror! lol they look like they are seperating themselves just fine!
